ABOUT BIJOY
Founded in 2003 by Francis and Nayomi Kisor, Bijoy Ministries is committed to transforming the lives of children in need across Bangladesh. What began as Aji Sedin, a Christmas rally for destitute children, has grown into Happy Birds Assembly (Sukhi Pakhideer Asor)—Mirpur, Dhaka’s largest children’s program. Today, we reach unreached communities through Projonmo clubs, educational support, and discipleship programs, equipping children, teens, and families to live out their faith.
We provide school fees, emergency shelter, meals, hygiene products, medicle bills, leadership and practical training to children, young adult and teens in under-resourced and predominantly Islamic contexts, helping them overcome challenges and build a foundation for a brighter future. Working alongside local churches, we also equip ministry leaders and parents with culturally relevant tools to raise a generation with resilient faith in Jesus.

How we fulfill our Mission
- Passing the Faith – We engage today’s generation through holiday camps, after-school programs, specialized camps, and Gospel outreach, particularly in remote and closed contexts where Islam is dominant.
- Supporting Vulnerable Children – We provide school fees, supplies, emergency shelter, and encouragement to impoverished children facing hardships in predominantly Islamic contexts
- Equipping Ministry Leaders – Many church leaders desire to reach today’s generation but lack the tools to navigate challenges like poverty, violence, abuse, and broken families. We equip them with life-changing resources to share God’s love and make disciples in under-resourced areas.
- Strengthening Families – In communities where Islam is dominant, polygamy and violence are the norm. New believers often struggle to raise their children with Christian values. We provide biblical guidance to help parents live out their faith and build godly homes.
Our Financial policy
Bijoy Ministries is an indigenous Christian organization committed to reaching children with the love of Christ and enhancing the quality of life in every form. No official organization or church regularly supports Bijoy, but individuals and churches share the same interest. Bijoy believes that God will provide for its needs through gifts/grants from His faithful people and partnerships with churches and similar organizations for various programs/projects.
