Founded in 2003 by Francis and Nayomi Kisor, Bijoy Ministries began with a heartfelt mission to support children in desperate need. As co-founding directors and licensed pastoral credential holders with over 20 years of full-time ministry experience, Francis and Nayomi were moved to act after witnessing children scavenging for food near their home. What started as a Christmas rally (Aji Sedin) for destitute children has grown into the city’s largest children’s program—the Happy Birds Assembly (Sukhi Pakhideer Asor) in Mirpur, Dhaka. This initiative provides non-formal education, moral values, character-building activities, and fellowship for children in need.

Over the years, Bijoy Ministries has expanded its vision to reach unreached neighboring communities across Bangladesh. Through weekly Projonmo clubs, educational support, and other impactful programs, the organization engages children and teens in meaningful and transformative ways in collaboration with local churches. Bijoy Ministries also equips leaders and parents with culturally and contextually relevant tools to empower today’s generation to live out and share the love and hope of Jesus Christ.
