About Bijoy Ministries
Founded in 2003 by Francis and Nayomi Kisor, Bijoy Ministries is dedicated to transforming the lives of children and their families in need across Bangladesh.
What began as Āji sē din (আজি সেদিন) , a Christmas rally for underprivileged children, has grown into Happy Birds Assembly (সুখি পাখীদের আসর) — the largest children’s program in the city, Dhaka. Over the years, the ministry has expanded its reach into unreached communities through Prajanma (generation) Clubs, educational support, and discipleship initiatives. These programs are designed to help children, teens, and families grow in faith and live it out in everyday life.
We serve in under-resourced and predominantly other faith contexts, providing practical and life-changing support. This includes school fees, emergency shelter, nutritious meals, hygiene supplies, medical assistance, and leadership development. Our goal is to help young people overcome challenges and build a strong foundation for a hopeful future.
In partnership with local evangelical churches, we also equip ministry leaders and parents with culturally relevant tools to nurture a resilient, Christ-centered faith in the next generation.

How we fulfill our Mission
1. Passing the Faith
We engage today’s generation through holiday camps, after-school programs, specialized camps, and Gospel outreach—especially in remote and spiritually resistant communities.
2. Supporting Vulnerable Children
We care for children in need by providing school fees, educational supplies, emergency shelter, and ongoing encouragement, particularly for those facing hardships in predominantly other faith contexts.
3. Equipping Ministry Leaders
We train and resource church leaders to effectively reach the new generation, addressing real-life issues such as poverty, violence, abuse, and broken families, while making disciples in under-resourced areas.
4. Strengthening Marriage And Families
We support families with Biblical guidance to help parents live out their faith, nurture their children, and build strong, Godly homes in complex cultural settings.
Our Financial Policy
Bijoy Ministries is an indigenous Christian organization committed to reaching children with the love of Christ and enhancing the quality of life in every form. No official organization or church regularly supports Bijoy, but individuals and churches share the same interest. Bijoy believes that God will provide for its needs through gifts/grants from His faithful people and partnerships with churches and similar organizations for various programs/projects.
